Marianna is a graduate of the Russian Gnessin Academy of Music (1982, studied with A.Joheless, V.Tropp, B.Berlin) and did a fellowship course with L.Bulatova (1987)

She teaches piano in Moscow Gnessin School of Music, as well as being a Head of Accompaniment Department.

For the past 20 years she has been working at the Moscow State Academic Philharmonia.  She has been organising a number concerts with comments (“Historical portraits” introducing clavier and piano music from the French harpsichord players up to Paul Hindemith etc)

She is a prize-winner of a number of international competitions. She performs constantly within Russia and abroad. As a soloist and an ensemble player, she participated in international festivals in Europe, Asia and Canada.
