On August 18, a concert of 11 students who came to Moscow from the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (Singapore) was held in the Organ Hall. Their head – Professor Rena Cheung Phua (piano). At the invitation of Gnessin Moscow Special School of Music, the event was visited by a delegation from the embassy of the Republic of Singapore, headed by the Current Ambassador of Singapore, Ms Lim Kheng Hua.
The concert program included compositions for piano by Brahms, Beethoven, Chopin, Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninov, Prokofiev and other composers. After the concert, as a sign of respect and friendship, the Head of Gnessin Moscow Special School of Music, Mikhail Khokhlov, presented a gift samovar to Professor Cheung, at the same time sharing the technology of its work.
