Elena Berezkina graduated from the Novosibirsk State Glinka Conservatoire having studied with professor Dina Shevchuk.
Since 1994 Elena has been in a teaching position in the piano department of the Choral Art Academy (College). Since 2005 she has been teaching in Children Music School named after N.Osipov. She is also a piano teacher in Moscow Gnessin Special School of Music.
During her teaching career Elena has brought up a number of prize-winners of International and National competitions. Her students took part in many concerts and festivals within Russia and abroad (USA, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Spain, Finland, Japan, Belarus, Ukraine, Croatia)
Within a period from 2012 to 2015 the students of Elena’s class performed with following orchestras and conductors:
Mariinsky Theatre Orchestra under Valeri Gergiev, Russian National Orchestra under Dmitry Liss, National Philharmonia Orchestra conducted by Alexandr Solovyev, State Symphonic Orchestra “New Russia” under Yuri Tkachenko and many others.
Elena is an Honoured Arts Worker of the Russian Federation, “The teacher of the year” of European league of the Russian Federation Commonwealth.
