Olga Oleynikova (jazz vocal)

Olga Oleynikova is a member of the Russian Public Academy of Voice, a teacher of the advanced training course “Vocal Techniques in Popular Music” of the Directorate of Educational Programs in the Sphere of Culture and Art at the Department of Culture of the City of Moscow, leading author training courses.

Olga was born in Samara and began searching for herself in the music world from jazz. As a soloist of the Mirage jazz orchestra (Novokuybyshevsk), she participated in international jazz festivals.

Since 2003, Olga lives in Moscow and regularly collaborates with such famous artists as Nikolai Arutyunov, Sergey Manukyan, Yevgeny Khavtan, Irina Bogushevskaya, Alexey Kozlov, Grigory Fayn and others. In 2009 and 2010, she performed at the Jazz Rally  festival in Düsseldorf as part of the Jazzprom project with the participation of legendary ex-guitarist of the Focus group Jan Ackerman (Holland).

In 2014, Olga took part in the third season of the popular TV show “Voice” and reached the quarterfinal. The creative approach and extraordinary performance by Olga of famous soul songs on the project was noted by A. Gradsky: “True hooliganism is in the best sense!”. Participation in the project attracted attention to Olga as a talented and enthusiastic teacher and to the Sunny Side Singers vocal studio created by her, which included students from TV shows and winners of prestigious music competitions.
