Maria Teplyakova (viola)

Winner of international competitions.

Soloist of the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Moscow Music Theater Orchestra. She graduated from the Moscow Tchaikovsky  Conservatory and completed an Assistant Intersip (professor G. Odinets). Among the teachers are prominent professors of the Moscow Conservatory A. Bonduryansky (chamber ensemble), D. Shebalin (quartet). She took part in master-classes of such musicians as Wilfred Strehle, Mikhail Kugel, Mikhail Kopelman, Lawrence Power, Gerhard Schulz, Barry Schiffman, Peter Schuchmayer, Keith Robinson, Nicolas Kitchen, Yesun Kim.

 

In 2006, she was invited to participate in the National Youthful Orchestra festival in the Netherlands as a concertmaster of the viola orchestra group and a member of chamber programs. Festival concerts were held in the best halls of the Netherlands, including the Concertgebouw (Amsterdam). In 2010, in a duet with Maria Smerdova (piano), she received a special prize “For the best ensemble” from the VI International Viola Competition «T. Gaidamovich». Between 2010 and 2012, as part of RUSQUARTET, she toured and took part in numerous festivals in Russia, Australia, Canada, Spain and France. She collaborated with such outstanding musicians as Paul Badura-Skoda, Alexander Bonduryansky, Peter Laul, Lovro Pogorelich, Irina Kandinskaya, Felix Korobov, Victor Tretyakov, Alexey Lundin, Nikita Borisoglebsky, Dmitry Sitkovetsky and others.

Member of the jury and creative team of the International Festival-Competition and the Charity Foundation “The Magic of Sound”, which collaborates with The Vladimir Spivakov International Charity Foundation.
