the Professor of Harp at the Russian Music Academy and the Moscow Special Gnessin School
Milda Agazarian is a founding member and President of the Association of Russian Harp Teachers International and the Founder and the Artistic Director of annual Moscow International Harp Festival. She has served on the juries of numerous national and international harp competitions and 36 her students have won prizes at the international harp contests in Russia, France, USA, Bulgaria, Walles, Serbia, Hungary, Spain.

M.Agazarian has presented master-classes in Japan, Great Britan, France, Hungary, Lithuania and Switzerland and was a Honorable Guest of the VI USA International Harp Competition in Bloomington where presented a program, composed of masterpieces of Russian Harp Music at the Maser Harpist Concert Series.

Since 2006 Milda Agazarian is the Professor – in – Residence of the International Harp Academy “Harp Masters” in Switzerland and since 2009 is the Visiting Professor of The Royal Academy of Music in London.

Professor Agazarian is the Member of the Board of Directors of World Harp Congress since 2011 and is Founder and Artistic Director of The Ksenia Erdely International Harp Competition.

Milda Agazarian was born in Erevan, Armenia. She graduated from The Moscow Special Gnessin School with a gold medal and an Award from the Tchaikovsky State Moscow Conservatory. She has worked with a number of orchestras, including the USSR State Symphony Orchestra and Tchaikovsky Symphonic Orchestra.
Being a student and successor of legendary Russian harpists and pedagogues Mark Rubin, Ksenia Erdely and Vera Dulova, professor Agazarian preserves, continues and develops traditions of the famous Russian Harp School
